Alison Baker

Alison Baker has worked in publishing for over 17 years, and is currently Senior Publisher (Education and Linguistics) on the Bloomsbury Academic imprint at Bloomsbury Publishing. A highly experienced commissioning editor, she started her editorial career as Administrator at Continuum International Publishing Group and has experience working across education titles for classroom practitioner, trainee teacher and academic audiences. She currently manages a team of six, developing the Bloomsbury Academic offerings in education, linguistics and research methods across digital and print formats written for a broad range of audiences, including academics, undergraduate and postgraduate students, and trainee teachers.
