An affordable one day, online course that looks at how books are publicised, marketed and sold. You’ll be given a good introduction to the core skills required to build a successful career in these areas. In a stimulating mix of theory and practical exercises.


 Some of the topics you’ll learn about include:

  • How to position a book and create a campaign
  • How to brief a designer
  • How to write convincing copy
  • Marketing to the trade-persuading booksellers
  • Digital marketing to readers – both social media and paid advertising
  • How to analyse sales data and what you can learn from it
